Travel to Khustai National park
Morning pick up at your hotel and travel to Khustai National Park about 2hours drive distance of 100kms. We will visit the reservation area that protects wild horses or Takhi. Takhi were nearly extinct but thanks to several European zoos who managed to breed the Przewalski’s horse, they were able to return back most of the wild horses to the home country of Mongolia. Followed by an hour of rest your family will attend a short presentation about the park and its wildlife at the Information Center. Stay overnight in Ger camp. LD

Exploring wild animals
This is the day to learn more about the wildlife of Mongolian steppe. You will be taken by your car about a half an hour to reach a trail to find wild animals. Look for wild horses and see herds at the pasture. Your family will enjoy about 3-3.5hours walk along the mountain hills and forest where encounter wild deer, gazelles, marmots and other small animals. The Khustai National Park covers 50620ha reserve in order to protect not only wild horses, also many species of wild games, birds and plants. You will have a picnic lunch in wilderness. Your kids can enjoy many types of wild flowers, interesting life of butterflies on the way to reach the next camping spot. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Travel to Nomad community herders
We will travel to Khognokhaan Nature Reserve which will take 200kms. Afternoon, we will reach to nomad community. We will visit the nomad family and being welcomed by nomads in a unique way of etiquette. They will offer unconventional home-made special dairy products, such as “aaruul” or dried curds, Mongolian salty milk tea or Suutei tsai and so on. You can interact with nomad people and get more knowledge of their nature coexisting lifestyle. Stay overnight in community Ger of nomad family. BLD

Enjoy living as nomads & Ride two humped Bactrian camel
Start your day with nomadic breakfast. Observing the way of living as a nomad. You can have an opportunity to milk the pastoral animals like cows and mares. You kids can play with nomad kids teaching other with cool kid stuffs. There are plenty of Mongolian games which require involving intellectual and mental abilities to develop the children’s thinking skills as well as adults So kids can play building their own miniature gers by natural stones in order to learn the steps to erect the real Mongolian ger. Late afternoon enjoy trekking and exploring through sand dunes of Ikh Mongol with your kids. Your family will enjoy camel riding for one hour. Everybody can have the opportunity to ride this giant, but very calm animal. It depends on how you will enjoy the camel riding, thus you can extend the time to ride the threedecker of the sand. Also all children will attend the lesson of “Shagai”,or the traditional game using an ankle bones of sheep and goats. There are many shagai game activities which will occupy your child for a while. Close communication with nomads will make you and your kids more familiar with their nature loved unique lifestyle. In the evening both families will be involved in a joyful competition of “solving riddles” that organizes by our tour guide. Stay overnight in community Ger of nomad family. BLD

Exploring cultural heritages
Today we will travel to Kharakhorum about an hour for 90kms. We will visit the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist monastery Erdene Zuu, built on the ruins of ancient capital city of Great Mongolian Empire. Then we will visit a local historical museum dedicated to the old capital city. After visiting the main attraction we can explore interesting sites around Kharakhorum. Stay overnight in Ger camp. Travel to Tsenkher hot spring
We will travel to Tsenkher hot spring which will take 120kms. Today you will hike around the Tsenkher hot spring sightseeing the local landscape. With water issuing at a scalding of +86.5 degree Celsius with the stench of hydrogen sulphide, the hot spring is very popular in the area. Surrounding area is the grassland while some part beside the hills is bit forested. Relax in a hot spring bath chatting about casual topics. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Travel to Ugii Lake
Today we will be travelling to Ugii Lake which will take 140kms. The fresh water lake which surfaces area of 25sq.kms is abundant with water birds and with variety of fish. Walk along the lake shore to view the local bird species and enjoy hearing ambient sounds of a calm waving lake moved by a soft wind mixed up with the singing of birds. It’s optional to hire a boat. You can have a fun swimming in Ugii Lake with your family and tanning your skin. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Travel back to Ulaanbaatar
We will travel back to Ulaanbaatar city which will take 360kms driving mostly on a paved road. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar city we will transfer you to your accommodation. End of the service. BL

Private tour: This is a private tour, and you can book it on any day of your choice.

Occupancy: you can stay in a single, twin or double room/ger/tent (where applicable). Single occupancy may not be possible during the Naadam festival (July 5th -15th) at ger camps. At community-based camps and ger homestays, single occupancy is subject to availability. Single and twin/double occupancy at ger camps require an extra supplement as shown in the above table.
