Ulaanbaatar – Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake-Baldan Bereeven monastery – Uglugch Wall – Avarga Toson Lake – World Energy Center of Khamar Monastery – Ikh Nart Nature Reserve – Ulaanbaatar.
We will pick you up from your hotel and travel to Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake about 4hours drive which will take 220kms. Imagine yourself as a noble of medieval Mongolia while walking around the historical area where in 1189 Lord Chinggis became the Leader of the whole Mongolian tribes. Khar Zurkh Lake is located to the north from the center of Tsenkhermandal soum of Khentii province. We’ll be staying overnight in a tent near to the lake. LD
Today we will travel to Baldan Bereeven monastery that will take 80kms. The monastery was one of the largest and most famous 3 monasteries in Mongolia and served as a residence of 5000 monks during 18th-20th centuries. We will visit the main renewed temple and explore the ruins of an ancient monastery. We will be staying overnight in a tent. BLD
Today we will relax and meditate to cleanse ourselves from any negativity and do yoga. We will explore the surrounding area those who feel adventurous. We’ll be staying overnight in a tent. BLD
After having hearty breakfast we will travel to Uglugch wall which will take 70kms. We will hike around the ancient burial mounds, archaeological site, and surrounding nature. On the way we will stop on famous historical and cultural site called “Rashaan Khad” where ancient petroglyphs, carvings of tribe stamps and Arabia-Persian, Chinese, Tibetan, Mongolian old scripts were found. Many findings such as tools belonging to Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic Stone Ages, deer stones of Early Bronze Age and graves of Huns and Kidan Empires are excavated in this area. We’ll be staying overnight in a community based ger camp. BLD
We will travel to Chinggis Khuduu Aral which will take 190kms. Khuduu Aral of Kherlen River and surrounding cultural landscape covers the most part of Delgerkhaan soum of Khentii province and lays between Kherlen river (from west and south), and Tsenkher River (from east) and covers over 100.000 hectare area. The cultural landscape of Khuduu Aral draws boundary between mountainous zone and dry steppe zone. This area is very famous with its pleasant pasture land and rare animals and endemic plants and beautiful natural landscape to explore. We will be staying overnight in a tent. BLD
Early in the morning we will travel to World energy center of Khamar monastery which will take 330kms. On the way we will pass via Sainshand town, the center of Dornogobi province. Late afternoon we will travel to Khamar monastery for 47kms. Khamar Monastery was founded in 1820 by Danzanravjaa, a charismatic 17-year-old lamaist monk of the Nyingma red hat school of Buddhism. Danzanravjaa chose the site of the monastery believing the surrounding area radiated with a spiritual energy fostered by the Gobi desert. To the north of the monastery lie a series of caves where monks would retreat and practice high levels of meditation for 108 continuous days (108 being a sacred number in Buddhism). We’ll be staying overnight in tent. BLD
Early in the morning we will do the meditation and yoga. We will visit Khamar monastery also known as the energy center. Fill yourself with natural energy to restore your inner willpower. Visit Shambala land and Danzanravjaa’s Tantric Meditation Caves. You will get the chance see how offerings are made and respects paid according to the traditional ritual practices. It’s optional to lead meditation in the middle of the energy circle. Visit the 108 meditation caves formed amongst the volcanic site. Afternoon we will drive to Bayanzurkh Mountain which will take 35kms. We will be hiking up the mountain to enjoy the scenery. Then we will drive to Sainshand town for 45kms visiting the Danzanravjaa Museum of Terrible Noble Saint of the Gobi. We`ll be staying overnight in a local hotel. BLD
In the morning we will travel to Ikh Nartiin Chuluu Natural Reserve which will take 220kms. The area has been protected since 1996, and it covers 43.700 hectares. Ikh Nartiin Chuluu is consists of granites of Paleozoic age. Here you can enjoy the unique combination of Mongolian rocks, Gobi type of landscapes. We’ll be staying overnight in Ikh Nart Eco ger camp. BLD
Today we will do the trekking expedition around the Ikh Nart Nature Reserve to spot the wildlife. You will able to spot Argali Sheep, Siberian Ibex or know as Capra sibirica and the bird life. In the evening we will participate in a meditation and yoga on the top of the rock. We’ll be staying overnight in Ikh Nart Eco ger camp. BLD
In the morning we will travel to Ulaanbaatar city which will take 6-7hours with distance of 340kms. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar city we will transfer you to your hotel. End of the service. BL
